How do Cheetahs run so fast?
This animal is definitely made for speed. The cheetah is the fastest animal on land. At a young age a cheetah can outrun almost any other adult carnivore. Their special paw has a non-retractable claws. Their paw also has a special pad. Both of those things help the Cheetah get amazing traction. The paws are less rounded and harder than other cat's and help the cheetah make quick turns. To help with the cheetah with rapid physical response, it has large nostrils, lungs, liver, heart, and adrenals. They have a long fluid body. Also their tail acts like a rudder for quick turns.
